Why Mymi Baby?
A baby car monitor designed by a New Zealand first time mum who wanted something better.
Mymi Baby started with a simple problem: I found driving with a baby very anxiety inducing!!
Like many parents, I wanted to be able to glance back and check on my little one without turning around. But the traditional baby car monitors or mirrors I tried weren't quite what I was looking for.
The strapped cameras could move and shake while driving, making it frustrating to keep the camera positioned where I wanted it, it kept slipping down so I could only see bubs feet! The video view often felt too narrow - I wanted to see more than just my baby's face. And as for the mirrors, I could not even see through them!
I wanted a monitor that gave me a wider view, a more stable camera position and a clear picture, without making things complicated.
So that's where Mymi Baby Camera Monitor came to life.
Designed around what parents actually need!
The Mymi Baby camera clips onto the headrest poles, helping reduce movement and shaking while you're on the road. The flexible design lets you position the camera exactly where you need it.
The wide-angle view means you can see more of your little one and their surroundings, rather than being limited to a close-up of their face.
And because I didn't want another complicated device to worry about, Mymi Baby doesn't require WiFi, an app or mobile data. Plug it in, position the camera and you're ready to go.
More peace of mind, without the big price tag.
I also wanted Mymi Baby to be affordable.
Baby products can add up quickly, and I didn't believe parents should have to spend a fortune to get a good-quality view of their baby while travelling.
So we worked to create a practical, high-quality baby car monitor at a price that makes sense for everyday families.

For me, Mymi Baby isn't about watching every single movement.
It's about being able to quickly glance across and see your little one clearly when you need to, without taking your eyes away from the road to turn around.
